All things Trailblazer

Trailblazer [trail·blaz·er] (noun): one that blazes a trail to guide others, pioneer (Merriam Webster Online dictionary)

So back when I decided, “hey, lets start a new blog!” I had a few concepts:

  • Share valuable info with prospective adventurers & beginners
  • Be a platform to give expeditions more exposure
  • Promote the adventure tourism industry
  • Provide interesting random snippets.

My first choice name, which was available / for sale landed way out of my budget and after a long brainstorming I decided that trailblazer describes what I want to achieve pretty well. So I checked it out! Eventually I landed with trailblazerguide, a bit longer but more descriptive. This post attempts to recognize and acknowledge all others who came up with their own derivatives of this original name for their initiatives.
