Day 9 began at 6am, it took the guys a little longer than usual to get out of bed this morning, entirely due i’m sure to yesterdays 65km push. their average distance over the past 4 days has been between 55 and 65 km, much further than they initially intended. There bodies are sore and tired, but ready to make the last push to the end. The end is near the Tella Bridge border, seeing today as a 43 km stage. at their current pace they should be finished before lunch. For all those who have supported us throughout this journey, from initialization to completion the teams heartfelt thanks go out.
Today will see the Devon and Jurie finish a full two and a half days ahead of schedule.
